Ramped entrance to pedestrian subway
What it means
A ramped way down into a pedestrian subway under the road, so wheelchair and pushchair users can use it too. You'll meet these at big junctions and underpasses. The ramp slopes down here, while the footbridge version slopes up, so check which way the figure is walking before you answer.
