Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Driving Mastery plans are one-time purchases that unlock instantly. Because you get immediate access, once your content is unlocked you cannot get a refund simply for changing your mind — but you are always covered if something is genuinely wrong with what you bought. This policy explains how that works and does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Immediate access and your 14-day right to cancel
Normally, UK law gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase for a refund. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends as soon as delivery begins — provided you have agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the cancellation right. At checkout, before you pay, you must tick a box confirming exactly this. As a result: before your content is unlocked you can still change your mind; after it is unlocked (which happens the moment you pay and give that consent), the 14-day change-of-mind refund no longer applies. You cannot complete a purchase without giving this consent, so please read it before ticking.
2. What you are always entitled to
Regardless of the above, if the content is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you have the right to a repair or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Examples include a lesson video that will not play and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time, being charged for a plan you did not receive access to, or content that is materially different from what was advertised. In these cases, contact us and we will put it right.
3. Duplicate or accidental charges
If you were charged twice for the same plan, or charged in error, contact us and we will refund the incorrect charge in full.
4. What is not refundable
Change of mind after your content has been unlocked (see section 1); simply not using the content, as access being available is the service you paid for; and failing a test or not achieving a particular result, as our content is a study aid and not a guarantee.
5. Goodwill
Even where we are not required to refund, we may choose to offer one at our discretion — for example, an obvious accidental purchase reported quickly. This is goodwill, not an obligation, and does not change the policy above.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@drivingmastery.co.uk from the address on your account, telling us the email on your account, roughly when you bought, and what went wrong. We aim to respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 working days.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer. For more about your purchase and our service generally, see our Terms and Conditions.
