Welcome to Driving Mastery. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Driving Mastery is operated by Driving Mastery Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17324361. Our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at support@drivingmastery.co.uk.

2. Definitions

"Website" refers to https://drivingmastery.co.uk. "User", "you", or "your" refers to anyone accessing or using the website. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Driving Mastery.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, or content. You must not use the website to harass, defame, or harm others.

5. Account Eligibility

Learner accounts are available to users aged 16 or over. By creating or continuing to use a learner account, you confirm that you are 16 or over. Driving rules can depend on your age, licence type, vehicle, and supervision. You should check the Highway Code, GOV.UK guidance, and your instructor or supervising driver before making real-world driving decisions.

6. Account Responsibilities

If you register for an account, you are responsible for maintaining its security and confidentiality. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

7. Learner Service

The learner service currently provides educational modules, practice questions, mock tests, road-sign practice, progress tracking, guides, and AI-assisted study support. We may improve, replace, or withdraw features where reasonably necessary, but we will not intentionally remove access to saved account data without notice where practical.

8. Educational Content and Theo

Driving Mastery is an independent learning service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. Content is provided for study support and does not replace the Highway Code, GOV.UK guidance, professional driving instruction, or legal advice. Theo uses artificial intelligence and may occasionally produce an incomplete or incorrect response, so important legal, safety, booking, or test information should be checked against an official source. Do not share private, sensitive, medical, financial, or unnecessary personal information with Theo.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including diagrams, images, text, and code, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

10. Cookies and Data Collection

Necessary cookies support authentication, security, and core functionality. Optional analytics are used only according to your cookie choice. Our collection and use of personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy

We comply with UK GDPR and data protection laws. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data by contacting us at support@drivingmastery.co.uk.

12. Limitation of Liability

The website is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from use of the website.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website if you breach these Terms or engage in unlawful or harmful activity.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted here with the date of the last revision.

16. Payments and Pricing

A free tier is available, and the Driving Skills lesson library is free to use — the written lessons need no account at all, and the lesson videos need only a free account (you can watch one video without one). Theory Access is an optional one-time purchase of £5.99, not a subscription. Prices are shown at checkout in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the final price — we are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we do not see or store your full card details. We may change our prices and plans at any time; a change does not affect a purchase you have already made.

Driving Skills Access was previously sold as a separate one-time purchase. It is no longer for sale, because that content is now free. If you bought it, your purchase remains valid and your account keeps the access it was given, including unlimited use of the Theo AI Mentor.

17. Cancellation and Refunds

Purchased content unlocks immediately after payment. At checkout you must confirm that you want immediate access and understand that this ends your 14-day right to cancel for a change of mind once the content is unlocked. Your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed content are unaffected. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is aware of and agrees to any purchase and the use of the payment card.
