Hospital ahead with accident and emergency facilities
What it means
A red hospital sign means this one has an accident and emergency department or urgent treatment centre. Read the small print as well, because this version tells you the A&E is not open round the clock. If you're heading there in a hurry, follow the signs but keep your driving legal.
