Road works and temporary
Temporary exit from a construction or road works site
What it means
A white-on-red sign marking where site traffic pulls back out onto the road. Lorries and diggers join here slowly, often with a poor view of you. Hang back rather than sitting alongside the gap, cover the brake, and expect something wide and slow to emerge just as you get there.
