Road markings
Single red line (red route)
What it means
A single red line along the edge of a red route means no stopping during the days and times shown on the nearby red route signs. During those times you MUST NOT stop or park on it (Rule 240), not even to load or to let passengers in or out, unless you are a licensed taxi or a Blue Badge holder picking up or setting down. The line is only a guide to what is in force: always read the signs.
