What it means
Road works or a temporary obstruction ahead - expect lane closures, a loose or uneven surface, and people working close to moving traffic. You will meet it on every kind of road, often with a temporary speed limit alongside. Slow down early, get into the right lane in good time, and do not overtake the queue.
