Road markings
Red route parking bay
What it means
On a red route, the red line stops and a bay is marked out where you may stop. The red route sign beside it sets the terms - the days and hours, how long you may stay and how soon you may return. A bay marked in white, as here, is available throughout the day; one marked in red is available for its purpose for only part of the day. Either side of the bay, the red line still applies.
