What it means
This black-and-white plate is advice, not a legal limit - it is the speed judged safe for the bend or hazard ahead, and the road's actual limit still applies. You will see it under a bend or steep-hill warning triangle. Get down to the advised speed before you turn in, braking in a straight line.
