Speed limit signs
Maximum speed limit of 60 miles per hour
What it means
Sixty is the legal maximum here and you MUST NOT exceed it. You will meet a 60 roundel on A-roads, and on dual carriageways where the limit has been dropped from 70. Sixty is rarely the right speed on a narrow lane though - drive to what you can actually see to be clear, not to the number.
