Vehicular traffic passing the sign must keep to the left of the sign
What it means
Keep left: you MUST pass this sign on its left-hand side. It sits on traffic islands, central refuges and the nose of an island splitting a junction, showing you which way round the obstruction to go. Spot it early, steer left of it, and never swing round the wrong side to skip a queue.
