Regulatory signs
Vehicular traffic must proceed to the left
What it means
Turn left, and from this point that is the only way you are allowed to go - no straight on, no right. It is fixed at the junction itself, often at the entry to a one-way street. Get left early, signal in good time, and check your mirrors and blind spot for cyclists before you turn.
