Tramcars crossing ahead

Tramcars crossing ahead sign

What it means

A tram route crosses the road just ahead. You'll meet it in tram cities like Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Croydon. Trams are quiet, quick and cannot steer around you, so always give way to them: slow down, look along the rails both ways, and never stop on the crossing itself.
