Contra-flow cycle lane
What it means
Cyclists ride towards you on your side of a one-way street, in a lane kept for them. It catches drivers out because you don't expect anything coming the other way. Where the lane is marked by a solid white line you MUST NOT drive or park in it while it's operating. Look both ways before pulling out.
