Stop before crossing the traverse line on the road and ensure the way is clear before entering a major road
What it means
The one sign that makes you stop every single time, clear road or not. It is used where your view into the major road is poor - tight junctions, blind bends, awkward exits. You MUST stop with your front wheels behind the solid white line, then look properly and only move off when there is a safe gap.
