What it means
A blue circle, so this is a sign giving an order, not a suggestion: the route is for buses and pedal cycles. Bus gates in town centres are the usual place you will meet one, and many are camera-enforced. You MUST NOT drive past it, even to turn round, so plan a route that avoids it.
