One-way traffic

One-way traffic sign

What it means

The white "One way" plate sits under a blue direction arrow, and it tells you the road the arrow sends you into is one-way - once you turn there is no coming back that way. You meet it where a side road joins a one-way street, or at a junction where you cannot carry straight on. Traffic MUST travel the way the arrow points, so never reverse back out against the flow to correct a wrong turn.
