Regulatory signs
No overtaking
What it means
You MUST NOT overtake from this sign until an end-of-restriction sign lifts it. Double white lines, not this sign, are the usual way of handling a bend or hill crest that hides oncoming traffic, and the two are not used along the same stretch. This sign covers what lines cannot. Settle in behind the vehicle in front, drop back to a safe gap, and stop looking for a way past.
