Motor vehicles except solo motor cycles prohibited
What it means
Cars, vans and lorries are banned here, but a motorbike without a sidecar may still go through - that is why the sign shows a car on its own. You will meet it at the entrance to restricted streets. In a car you MUST NOT drive past it, so take the signed route round.
