Warning signs
Traffic merges ahead onto main carriageway from the left
What it means
This one is aimed at you as the joining driver: the road you are on is about to merge onto a main carriageway and you may have to give way to traffic already on it. Build your speed up to match theirs, check the mirror and blind spot, and aim for a gap rather than stopping at the merge point.
