Warning signs
50 yards to junction ahead controlled by a GIVE WAY sign
What it means
The plate that sits under the advance warning triangle: the Give Way line is 50 yards away, so it is almost on you. You see it where hedges or parked cars hide the junction. Come off the gas now, get your gear sorted early, and be looking into the new road before you reach the line, not after it.
