What it means
A worded plate fitted under a warning triangle or a Ford sign to say this stretch floods. There may be no water today, but it gathers fast after heavy rain, usually at the bottom of a dip. Slow down and read the surface ahead; if water is standing and you cannot judge the depth, turn round rather than chance it.
