Junction ahead controlled by a STOP or GIVE WAY sign
What it means
An upside-down triangle warning that a Stop or Give Way sign is coming, usually with a plate below saying which one and how far. It goes up where a bend or hedge hides the junction. Start losing speed now so you arrive slowly, and remember you MUST stop behind the line at a Stop sign.
