What it means
A plate that never appears alone: it goes under the snowflake triangle, or under a vehicle or overtaking restriction, to say ice is the reason. It is only put out during genuinely icy spells. Drive extremely carefully, avoid sudden braking or steering, and leave a much bigger gap than usual.
