Hump bridge ahead
What it means
A small bridge with a hump steep enough to unsettle the car and hide whatever is on the other side. Old canal and railway bridges on country lanes are the usual ones. Slow right down before the hump, keep left, and never overtake or sit in the middle, as something could be coming over the crest.
