Tidal flow lane control
Indicates lane open for vehicular traffic
What it means
A green arrow pointing down at your lane means that lane is open to you. You meet these on busy roads where the number of lanes each way is changed through the day to suit the heavier flow. Check the signal directly above your own lane, and keep checking, because they change.
