Everything published on Driving Mastery is written and reviewed by someone who teaches learners to drive for a living.
Why that matters
A lot of learner-driver advice online is written by people who have never sat in the passenger seat while someone learns to move off on a hill. The guidance here is written from teaching it, which is why it tends to explain why a thing is marked the way it is rather than just restating a rule.
How the guidance is checked

Checked against the source, line by line. Factual claims are verified against GOV.UK and the Highway Code rather than against another website that also got it second-hand.

Shared figures come from one place. The pass mark for each section of the theory test is read from one recorded source rather than typed into each page, so two pages cannot quietly drift apart and start disagreeing.

The check itself is recorded. Each article carries what was verified, the date it was verified, the method used, and the source it was checked against — not just a note that someone looked.

Editing it forces a re-check. Change a heading, an answer, or the description of a picture and the recorded check goes stale automatically. The page cannot publish again until it has been checked afresh.

- It is revision and preparation. It does not replace lessons with an instructor, or supervised practice on real roads.
- No website can promise you a pass. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
